About
Meredith Hodges, LCPC, LCAC, NCC
As an empowered neurodivergent counselor, I am passionate about helping people; especially the silent sufferers. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), a Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor (LCAC), and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). I am also a Certified Play Therapist working towards becoming a Registered Play Therapist. I have been practicing therapy in Kansas for over 10 years with children, adolescents, and adults in both individual, group, and family settings.
In addition to holding a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling, I also hold a Master of Science in Art Therapy Counseling and am trained to utilize art as therapy and to incorporate art into therapy. Art Therapy is a great alternative to traditional talk therapy as sometimes it is difficult to verbalize what we're thinking and feeling.Â
Â
I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I practice with an eclectic style, meaning I will utilize different therapeutic modalities tailored to fit your needs such as Adlerian, person-centered, solution-focused, CBT, and DBT. I also utilize a trauma-informed approach with all clients.

I understand that taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage, and I am here to support you in that journey.
